The Academy - Open Masterclass Series

Sundays, 4-6.30pm

A short series of masterclass workshops with visiting professionals, open to everyone aged 13-19. We will consider 10-12 year olds if they already attend our classes and are happy to be in an older group. Please email to confirm.

Taking the Next Step

We believe it’s important that young people are supported and prepared if they decide to build a career in the ever-evolving world of the performing and creative arts.

The Talent Shack Academy is a mentorship program designed to bridge the gap between early skills work and performing experience, and the very real business of developing yourself as a young professional ready for further training.

Bespoke Training

The Academy provides bespoke workshops, skills training, discussions, and experiences that will help our academy members develop their self-awareness as artists, allowing them to ask the real questions about the industry as well as opening their eyes to new pathways and possibilities into their chosen field.

Students are led through self-reflection and goal setting tasks, as well as creative analytical work to identify their strengths and challenges.

Visiting Professionals 2023/24

The Academy benefits from master classes and Q&A sessions with Industry Professionals throughout the year. These visiting professionals are chosen to match the interests of group. Previous creatives include:
