SCHOOL WORKSHOPS

Talent Shack Schools workshops  provide a range of different sessions that can be tailored to your curriculum and current projects. We can come to your school or you can visit our theatre on Penarth Road.

From analysis of set texts to drama workshops, devising theatre to dance workshops.

The following list of our devising projects is not exhaustive; World War 2, Myths and Legends,Medieval Knight Experience, World Book Day,Shakespeare and Tudors,Environmental and   Sustainable Theatre.

We also offer weekly after school dance and drama clubs at your school. We currently provide a dance class for St Mellons Church in Wales School in Cardiff. If you are a parent at this school you can find out more from the school office.

ASHLEY CUMMINGS

Ashley has facilitated workshops in the Talent Shack since 2018. He is a theatre and movement director who teaches with a focus on devising, ensemble and text performance. Ashley directs the TS Youth Theatre and our Backstage Crew initiative  , teaching performance techniques iand other essential elements such as prop making, lighting choices and scriptwriting. Ash directs the Saturday Musical Theatre Juniors and Seniors productions and leads masterclasses in physical theatre and stage combat. He also leads our bespoke workshops in schools.

RUBY DAVIES

Ruby is a professional, triple threat performer who trained at Guildford School of Acting. She is also an experienced dance teacher and a key part of our Dance Shack team. She teaches our Saturday Carousel Dance classes as well as our Parent and Baby classes and Adult Dance Technique. Ruby leads our dance parties and dance workshops in school.
