Our ever popular summer schools are back for 2026! Something for every child aged 6-16 for July and August!  10-4pm Monday to Friday.

Our team of teachers guide the children through a week of creating theatre. The group of mixed ages work together to put on a show from scratch that culminate in a performance for family on the Friday afternoon in our theatre, complete with costumes and lights!  You will be amazed with what your children can achieve in a week.

August 17-21 Week 5 Film in a Week

August 24-28 Week 6 Shakespeare in a Week (we haven’t decided which one yet)

Fees:

£174.50 for 5 day weeks (including booking fees)

Drop off at 10am, pick up at 4pm.  Please do not arrive before 9.50am as we will be busy setting up. The show on the Friday tends to be at 3.30pm, updates will be given during the week.

Everyone brings a packed lunch and we’ve got a tuck shop so bring your 50p’s!

As well as our weekly summer schools, this year we have DANCE & DO; CREATIVE CHILDCARE over in our dance studio. 

Days can be booked individually in Class Manager, Tuesday to Thursday, 10-4pm, £72 for 3 days or £30 a day, £25 for siblings. 

The days are designed for younger children where they can move between the ‘stations’ as they wish. Going from crafting, making, to dressing up, playing drama games or dancing. At set times through the day we will have quiet time balanced with letting off steam with a disco. Parents provide a packed lunch and our foyer becomes a picnic area. At the end of each day parents can come in and see their gallery of work and watch the dance routines.

The Shack Studio is a secure, enclosed space made up of one big studio, a foyer area and a kitchen, loo and small room at the rear.

We are fully insured and all our team have enhanced DBS checks. We also have a number of registered chaperones on the team.

Wraparound Care

We offer an earlier drop off and later pick up for those of you that need our service to fit better with your work schedule.  The cost of the wraparound is £6 per day, £5 for siblings. Please mention it after booking, when you get your welcome email, and we can book your child in.

Dawnstalkers Page to Stage one day workshop

For ages 7-14

Local author Sarah Thompson will read her book “Dawnstalkers” and each child gets to take a signed copy home. We will create a live action version to be performed at the end of the day.

Skills over the Summer

Mondays in the Studio 5-7pm Jazz pop up class in the studio – 4th August with Nina Hayward, professional dancer, trained at Addict – more TBA

Wednesdays in the Studio 5-7pm Street Dance open class – 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th August – ages 10-18

Week 1 Hip Hop – Starting with Hip Hop because the technique, groove and rhythm used in hip hop is used in many of the other styles of Street dance

Week 2 Breaking – Breaking is a lot of cardio and strength and then footwork!

Week 3 House and Funk – House is based on so much footwork so we flow naturally from last week

Week 4 Popping – Popping and locking are their own styles but designed with so much fun and good vibes this will be a great way to end the months sessions

Singing in the Shack one to ones – 4.30pm, 5pm, 5.30pm – David is offering three sessions every Thursday, first come first served.

£25 plus £1 booking fee per half hour singing lesson
