Everyman Cinema in Cardiff Bay are putting on a special event just for us to celebrate 10 years of making films with young people.
Saturday 18th May, 10am for a screening of highlights of films we’ve made PLUS Charlie Chaplin’s classic City Lights. Tickets are free but this is ticketed, please RSVP. This is for Shack families past and present, not general public.
Play_Ground is an occasional group for young actors aged 12-18. We read a play together and there’s opportunity to discuss and clarify as we go along. It’s a great way to practice sight reading and comprehension skills. Plus each session you do that’s another play you know and a playwright discovered.
In the past we’ve read Antigone, A Dolls House, The Crucible and Miss Julie.
Next session on Wednesday 28th May, 11-3pm, just £15 for the day. Bring a packed lunch!

Bring local author Sarah Thompson’s book to life for a performance at the end of the day for family and friends. £30 includes a signed copy of the book. Book in Class Manager.
Our LAMDA singers have their first dedicated concert in September! Plus our soloists will have the opportunity to sing as a group for the first time. Tickets will go on sale soon over on our Tickets page.
