Saturday Carousel classes are a mix of Musical Theatre jazz performance and technique. These are dance classes designed to support our Musical Theatre groups, to build up their dance knowledge, technique and physical strength and ability. So when they perform in our musicals they have the skill to smash that choreography.
The focus is on building strength, understanding and skill in dance. We have regular “Multiverse Concerts” at The Talent Shack for all our skills classes for that performance experience so they are always working towards a performance. There are other opportunities that come up, such as performing at dance events. Our dancers performed at Chance2Dance at Alton Towers in October 2025.
Our Saturday dance classes have been programmed to compliment the Talent Shack Musical Theatre classes in terms of timings. So Juniors aged 6-9 can have their dance class then walk round from the studio to the Shack theatre space with one of chaperones, have snack time and then go into their Musical Theatre class. Same with Seniors, aged 10-12 and Young Professionals 13-18. See timetable further down.
We welcome new students and you do not have to attend Talent Shack classes to be part of our dance classes. These are stand alone dance classes, and everyone is welcome! You don’t need to be part of our Musical Theatre groups, but it does benefit those who are!
Led by Courtney the atmosphere of all our classes is fun and accessible. We expect commitment and focus but we are open to welcoming children who are brand new to dance or those that are nervous and unsure. We are here to help your child find their confidence and self belief as well as to teach them how to dance!
