SATURDAYS 

Part of our MT Performance Programme. Saturday afternoons 4-6.30pm.  Students aged 13 to 18 rehearse towards full scale productions that are performed in our very own theatre during the summer term each year.  Our talented creative team replicate a professional theatre process as closely as possible, leading students through context, style and storytelling techniques to enhance their individual abilities. Vocal skills and harmonies, complex choreography and detailed blocking are led by Ashley Cummings, Hannah Levane and David Gibbons. 

The autumn term focuses on a series of masterclasses dealing with skills, styles, and different performance techniques working towards a showcase. The rest of the year is spent focussing on a full scale musical, performed in the Summer. Our 2024 production was Les Miserables (school edition), our production for 2025 is Our House, the Madness musical.

Our House show dates: July 12th and 13th, Saturday 7.30pm, Sunday 2.30pm and 7.30pm

Option to take Carousel Dance before Musical Theatre and we walk students from our dance studio to our theatre space. One drop off and pick up for parents. (See our Dance page or Class Manager once registered)

Fees:

New for 2025!  Regular monthly payments of £109 on the 1st of each month,  January – July 2025. We invoice 2 weeks before the start of each month and payment is to be made on the 1st of each month.  Optional part payment to spread the cost.

Dates:

Our terms run along the Cardiff and Vale school timetable. Saturday Musical Theatre Juniors, Seniors, and Young Professionals plus Carousel Dance do not break for half terms. They do stop for Easter, Summer and Christmas though!
