We offer one to one sessions, in singing and acting, and small groups classes for acting. The Talent Shack is a registered private exam centre for LAMDA exams which are held once a year during the spring term. “London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts” is a top drama school as well as an examination board and they offer practical exams in a wide range of communication and performance skills.
LAMDA exams you can take with us from entry level to grade 8 in
Solo Introductory (in our Mini Musical Theatre class)
Verse & Prose (in our Friday Bitesize and Foundations classes)
Shakespeare (as one to one)
Musical Theatre singing (as one to one)
Acting (one to one or small group)
LAMDA exams and the preparation involved count towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award. You can even set yourself the goal of passing the exam at the end of it. Check with your DofE Leader before you start to ensure it meets the requirements for your chosen level.
Grades are decided on after your first session and each child is given the material and all resources needed to successfully complete the exam. The higher LAMDA grades comes with UCAS points. Each discipline is taught on different days so its a good idea to talk to us first before booking.

Students also perform their work to parents in a showcase each term.
