Our Acting for Stage and Screen group is based on Stanislavski acting technique. We work with classic scripts, this term from theatre, and when the scenes are ready we will put them on camera. Many skill sets are transferable from stage to screen, and our main goal is for young actors to feel ownership of the script and comfortable filming. Using a basis of Stanislavski and improvisation, we help them to be able to make strong and interesting decisions while conveying naturalistic and compelling characters. We will balance the acting exercises, with scene study and learning about the principles behind Stan’s system of acting, The Method.
