We are always interested in increasing our pool of teachers and professional practitioners who make up the team at The Talent Shack. Maybe you’re a Musical Theatre performer who teaches or more of a classic singing or dance teacher. Maybe you’re a trained performer who loves working with children!
November 2025 – we are actively seeking a dance teacher for our Tuesday Foundation class, 5.30-6.30pm for Juniors aged 7-11. The ideal teacher will have experience teaching younger students who are just beginning their dance journey. Patience and a sense of humour also important! Enhanced DBS check essential. Certified for ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical or any combination. Competitive rates of pay. Opportunities to teach more classes plus develop your own projects. We want the group to experience a range of dance styles and techniques, its not a strict one discipline class. The emphasis is on developing confidence and dance language.
November 2025 – we are currently seeking a Stage Manager mentor / facilitator to support our Backstage Crew initiative, introducing young people into the world of production arts in a very practical, hands on way. Thursday evenings plus a few hours on a Saturday. This is currently a voluntary role that we are looking to make a paid position in 2026, dependant on funding. Enhanced DBS check essential. A great opportunity to expand teaching experience with the support of The Shack team. Opportunities to develop your own projects with access to our theatre and equipment.
