On Sunday 8th March Shelley Norton Stage School staged a charity event “Rhondda Flood Relief Concert” to raise money for the families that have lost so much in the horrendous floods at the beginning of 2020.
Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund who funded our fabulous seating, lights and PA we’ve got a venue ready to go for one night charity events. And because of our talented and wonderful resident stage school we easily had enough material to put on a night of entertainment. Tickets sold out quickly thanks to our loyal families. Local businesses donated incredible raffle prizes and Lorraine ran the bar and tuck shop of course.
Shelley Norton Stage School performed highlights from the Seniors recent production of Legally Blonde Jr and the Juniors forthcoming productions Aladdin and Peter Pan Jr.
A total of £900 was raised!
All money raised went to the fund established by Chris Bryant MP for Rhondda Cynon Taf sent a message after the concert expressing his gratitude to all involved.
